  • City of Busselton

The City of Busselton has been fortunate to engage Kim (KBC) for two (2) workshops. The first workshop covered the changes to the Associations Incorporation Act 2015 and how it affects not for profit clubs as well as how to run successful meetings. The feedback from the participants was extremely positive. The second workshop was “Hunting and Gathering” focusing on where to access grants and how to write effective grant/sponsorship applications. Once again the feedback from the participants was extremely positive.

Kim is a very energetic and engaging facilitator whose knowledge of  the not for profit and sport and recreation sector is exceptional.

  • Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup

Kim was recommended to the Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup to assist in establishing a new community committee that would manage new sporting facilities being constructed in Tambellup. Whilst the scope of the task ahead was daunting to all of us setting out, Kim was able to break it down into bite sized chunks, that, with consultation back to our clubs, were able to be ticked off. The result is we have a functioning committee with a plan for their future and the skills to forge ahead as they assume management of the new facility. Kim’s professionalism and facilitation skills allowed the group to work effectively, and we would have no hesitation in seeking her assistance again in the future.

  • Princess Royal Sailing Club

Kim has a broad background in sport participation and management which enabled us to develop a presentation outlining the current thinking and direction of successful clubs and focus the work shop on developing the ideas and enthusiasm from within the club membership and for them to take ownership.

This proved very successful in both generating member enthusiasm and some sound ideas to plan and develop the ongoing success of the Sailing Club, Kim's report on the workshop was detailed and delivered to the Board promptly following the workshop.

This has proved a very positive process for the Club and Kim's input and experience was the key driver as an independent facilitator in managing the information to and output from our members.
